Such a weekend.
The reading blitz: The House on the Borderland (William Hope Hodgson), Storm Front (Jim Butcher), and began Charlotte: being a true account of an actress's flamboyant adventures in eighteenth century London's wild and wicked theatrical world (Katherine Shevelow).
The diversions blitz: Discovered Sarah Haskins in Target Women. Can't believe I've never seen her before - pointed and hilarious.
The critters: Mickey gave us the scare of the month by refusing to eat and yelping in pain. I had to remind him: Angel has ONE MORE WEEK OF COLLEGE. You gotta make it through, buddy. She's going to be devastated when you go. PLEASE NOT NOW. That's entirely selfish, I know - I don't want him ever to go. But he's old, and has lived far longer than we ever expected. Luckily, it was just gas or something - he's fine now.
